Our Story

Hyperproof started when our founder, Craig Unger, experienced the frustration of managing high-stakes audits using nothing but spreadsheets and email. Realizing manual tools couldn’t keep up with modern security needs, he set out to create a central system that automates the busy work of proving compliance. Today, we help teams stay organized and protected, allowing them to streamline their GRC operations and focus on their actual work.

Craig Unger

Chief Executive Officer & Founder

Craig Unger, the Founder and CEO of Hyperproof, is an expert in building technology businesses and teams. Prior to founding Hyperproof, Craig founded Azuqua and was a leader at Microsoft where he led the development of Microsoft Dynamics and Access. He has 30 years of experience building software used around the world.

Brandi Emerson

Vice President, People and Culture

Brandi is responsible for creating and implementing an innovative people strategy. Her experience in leading people teams and cultural stewardship spans over 17 years and in multiple industries including SaaS, WiFi, healthtech and non-profit healthcare. Brandi’s key areas of focus include promoting a vibrant company culture, providing leadership and employee development, and ensuring a positive and fulfilling employee experience. She is passionate about leading people-first and believes that employee happiness is critical to company success.

Dave Brennen

Vice President, Engineering

Dave is a hands-on engineering leader who has over 30 years of experience working at Data General, HaL Computer Systems, and Microsoft. He’s helped design and build software used by hundreds of millions of people including Outlook, Xbox, Bing, and Azure. Dave is passionate about collaborative company culture and software that “just works,” so he is excited to be making both a reality at Hyperproof.

Peter Chase

Chief Operating Officer

Prior to joining Hyperproof, Peter was the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer for Scribe Software, a global integration platform as a service (iPaaS) provider that was acquired by Tibco Software in June, 2018. As Chief Operating Officer, Peter is passionate about delivering durable and sustainable value to Hyperproof’s customers and partners. Outside of Hyperproof, Peter enjoys skiing, mountain biking, basketball, travel, and good times with family and friends.

Seth Warren

Vice President of Strategic Operations

Seth and his team ensure customers yield maximum value from Hyperproof’s platform through implementation, customer success, and a data-backed approach. Utilizing 12 years in customer-facing and leadership roles, he builds strong relationships on the basis of trust while ensuring that the voice of the customer comes first.

Bob Heddle

Vice President, Product

Bob led software innovation teams at startups and large companies, including: Microsoft, Sony, Wildseed, Aol, and Azuqua. He has 28 years of experience incubating and building new software platforms that surprise and delight customers. Bob is obsessed with building a software platform that makes compliance easier for everyone.

Mark Walker

Vice President, Support and Enablement

Mark leads Hyperproof’s Documentation, Support, and Training teams. He is a passionate customer advocate working hard to provide customers and partners with the product information they need to succeed and the best support resources when they need backup. With over 30 years of experience in software customer operations, he focuses on bringing empathy, ownership, and responsiveness to the customer experience.

Mike Johnson

Senior Vice President, Sales

Michael is proven marketing and sales executive who has held sales leadership positions at Metricstream, ITA Group, Kony and Lexmark. He has demonstrated GTM expertise for both enterprise and partner sales during his 25+ year career and builds top performing teams that consistently exceed expectations. Michael is passionate about building deep relationships while providing solutions that help customers achieve their goals.

Chris Sams

Vice President, Partners

Chris brings two decades of experience leading sales and partner teams across startups and global organizations, including MetricStream, Novinium, and Lexmark. He has excelled at driving value across partner ecosystems, building successful go-to-market strategies, and negotiating agreements that drive customer value. Chris is passionate about building relationships across teams to deliver growth and fostering long-term partnerships. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking and playing music with his family and friends in Seattle.

Alam Ali

SVP, Product Management

Alam is an outcome-driven innovator with extensive experience in software product and engineering, as well as deep technical expertise in big data platforms, cloud infrastructure, social networks, semantic search, and online advertising technologies. He is an engaging collaborator and empowering leader with a proven record of inspiring software engineering teams to get products to market quickly, while ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction.

Recently, Alam was a Partner General Manager and Chief of Product at Microsoft where he led product and engineering teams to define and build a new product line with the potential for $1B revenue. Previously, Alam was Vice President at Motorola Solutions where he led product and engineering teams to create the Public Safety Cloud.

Alam is also a member of Humanity First, a global non-profit organization focused on long-term disaster relief, promotion of peace through mutual respect and understanding, and strengthening the capacity of people to help themselves. Alam and his wife live in the Pacific Northwest and have raised three children.

Marco Siccardo

Vice President, Global Solutions & Architecture

Marco is an experienced GTM leader with a strong background in sales and solutions architecture. He builds and leads high-performing teams that design scalable, customer-centric solutions while ensuring seamless alignment between product capabilities, market needs, and sales execution. With a deep understanding of both technical and commercial priorities, he drives product and GTM strategy, with the long-term success of customers in mind.

Robin Dupre

Vice President, Commercial Sales

With 20+ years of experience in software and SaaS sales leadership, Robin drives Hyperproof’s Commercial sales team with a culture of curiosity, problem-solving, and collaboration. Her expertise in direct and channel sales fuels market expansion and revenue growth. Committed to customer-centric strategies, Robin aligns sales initiatives with Hyperproof’s core values and business objectives, ensuring lasting impact and sustainable success.

Kevin Finlay

Vice President, Enterprise Sales

Kevin brings over 30 years of distinguished sales leadership experience to our team. His career spans a diverse range of organizations, from dynamic startups to global enterprises, including MetricStream, Sphera Solutions, ARAMARK, and DecisionOne. Kevin is an expert in crafting and executing successful go-to-market strategies, driving high-performance sales teams, and fostering strong cross-functional collaborations that deliver sustainable growth and long-term partnerships. Based in the Philadelphia area, Kevin’s dedication extends beyond professional pursuits; he enjoys quality time with his family, outdoor activities, and a passion for DIY and woodworking projects.

Kristina Bean

Vice President of Finance and Accounting

Kristina is a seasoned finance executive with over a decade of experience driving financial strategy and operational efficiency as Hyperproof’s VP of Finance and Accounting. Her background includes pivotal leadership positions, demonstrating extensive expertise in financial planning and robust accounting practices. Kristina excels at building high-performing finance teams, streamlining processes, and leveraging data to achieve business objectives and support Hyperproof’s mission to make compliance easier for everyone.

Nidhi Daga

Senior Vice President of Marketing

Nidhi Daga (she/her) is a strategic, curious executive passionate about growth hacking. Nidhi has more than 15 years of experience in building software products, leading full-stack marketing, and driving business transformation. She has managed P&L for accounts ranging from $50MM to $1B while delivering double-digit revenue growth and optimizing margins. Nidhi is a 2x founder. She has held leadership positions within Product Management and Marketing within multiple Fortune 500 companies, including Abbott and Omnicell.

Nidhi serves as a board member for SaverLife, a nonprofit Fintech. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Penn State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from India. In her free time, Nidhi loves chasing adventure and is currently working towards climbing Mt Everest as her next bucket list item. She also enjoys experimenting with fusion cuisine and traveling with her family. She now resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two highly curious boys!
